Dr. Patricia Piazza MSc, MD, PhD, is a pediatric neuroradiologist trained at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she is currently part of the neuroradiology division. She holds a Postdoctoral Education certificate in Artificial Intelligence. Her research focuses on neuroconnectivity, fetal imaging, and neurodevelopment. Additionally, she is passionate about advancing clinical education and translational research.

Dr. Ferco Berger is a Dutch radiologist who trained in the Netherlands and has 20 years of experience in Emergency & Trauma imaging. After his two years of fellowships in Vancouver (one year each of Emergency & Trauma and MSK imaging), he built a new Emergency & Trauma radiology division at the largest trauma centre in his native Amsterdam. Since returning to Canada in 2016, he has led a dedicated team of Emergency & Trauma radiologists in creating a new ETR division at the Department of Medical Imaging at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, which includes the nation’s largest Level 1 trauma centre and has ~700 of the 1300+ beds dedicated to acute care, of which 128 ICU/Critical Care beds. He is the Deputy-Chief of operations of the Department of Medical Imaging at Sunnybrook, an Associate Scientist at the Sunnybrook Research Institute, and an Associate Professor and Lead of the Emergency Radiology Division at the University of Toronto. He is Secretary-Treasurer of CETARS and on the ECs of ASER and ESER.

Dr. Jason Shewchuk completed Radiology Residency in Winnipeg followed by Neuroradiology Fellowship in Seattle.  He has been at UBC since 2006 and has been Head of Neuroradiology since 2013.  He is a Clinical Professor in Radiology at UBC and is Board Certified in Radiology and Neuroradiology.  His interests include Spine, Neurovascular, Brain Tumours, and Quality Assurance/Improvement.

Dr. Eileen Bridges MD, CCFP, MSc, Dip Sport Med., completed her medical degree at the University of Ottawa. She gained her certification in family medicine and earned a fellowship in sports medicine and a masters in exercise physiology at McGill University. She practiced emergency and sports medicine at McGill University where she was an assistant professor and has served in many capacities in medical education at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Nationally, she has served with organizations such as the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP), the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM) as well as the Medical Council of Canada.

Dr. Dawn Lim (she/her) is a staff emergency physician and assistant professor at the University Health Network. She is a photo essayist and life coach particularly interested in changing the culture of shame in motherhood and medicine.
